We met each other at Sheffield Family Life Center in 1984, dated a while and decided to marry. I was from south Kansas City Missouri and she was from north Kansas City.
We both had a desire to minister for the Lord, I particularly in a music capacity while she was drawn by a desire to teach and preach the Word of God. We started going to MCI (Municiple Correctional Intitution) located in south Kansas City to minister there on a weekly basis. This is where we honed our skills to minister and present the Gospel and this along with visiting a relative who was incarcerated was the beginning of our "Heart for the Inside Church".
After listening to our good friend and mentor, Billy Hale, president of the Country Gospel Music Association, we were encouraged to go "Fulltime". In December of 2008, we headed out west to Arizona to appear on a friends Gospel Television Program and then on to travel along with another couple who travel, minister and perform music programs through out the southwest during the winter months. We then began to make contacts thru friends and also began working our way into various Prison Facilitys. We have taken correctional training in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Missouri so far. We minister and do music concerts where ever God opens the door and our #1 Mission Field is to the incarcerated.
We believe that we are living in the time of the "Sunset Harvest" and that "We must work while it is day for night cometh soon when no man can work"
